Heres what I'm using.
Imation 8x dvd-r
I tried a memorex 16x dvd+r first and wow the wii didnt like that at all laser shot everywhere got a lil' scared but eventually just ejected the cd and returned to the Boot Loader Menu. But ya I'm using ero 8 express style to burn these games with my first game, Game Party 2 works great on the imation DvD's.

Game loads begining intro skips and stuff ust hit a button to skip then you get to watch the main screen for awhile i think like a whole minute maybe 2 then game loads into main menu fine and games run great take a little bit to load but its mainly the main load that takes the longest.
Trying more games as I get them I'll keep you posted.
