no PSP is outdated. There are serveral applications that don't work on all PSPs, but the hardware inside is more or less the same. so there no big difference between the PSP-1000 and the PSP Go. as they sad, both PSP-3000 and PSP Go will get the same games; this strategy is the reason why they didn't built in a touch screen.
and when the 3000 gets the games, 2000 and 1000 get the games, too.
