They are remaking them for a younger generation who did not play the original versions. If the same generation that played the very first original version on the GB or GBC, and they also bought the new version(s) then thats their fault.

I guess its just nice to have upgraded visuals on the entire game. Plus the Fire Red and Leaf Green also have pokemon from Gold and Silver... and i think Ruby and Sapphire if i'm not mistaken.

EDIT: Also when they have finished going through the colors of the rainbows, they should make the ultimate pokemon game that will make you travel through all the regions in chronological order, with all the pokemon, gym leaders, items, professors and each bad team (Team Rocket, Magma etc...)

On-Topic, I think the best pokemon game to date is Emerald just cause its the closest they have gotten to giving you everything. They always release games in a set of two or three and each one has something specific to them so you want to buy them all.

For once they should just release a single game not Red, Blue, Yellow or Gold & Silver or Ruby and Sapphire. They should just make a game called Pokemon the Game or Pokemon Journey. You create your own character can go online, the map is open world and you can catch pokemon in real time. When you battle you control your pokemon by pressing like A or B to dash or attack and you can set attack moves to specific buttons.

You can play online with say 16 players and do 4 on 4 matches. You get a secret base like before and you can catch every pokemon or you can import them from a previous title. I think Pokemon is a good series true the "Pikaaachuuuu" thing gets a little annoying but the games were always fun for me.

I second this! Start in Kanto, then go through Johto, then Hoenn, then Sinnoh! Now THAT would be the epic-est epic Pokémon game ever to be epic-ly made (because it would be so epic)

i love Pokemon as well i own silver and my sis owns gold any pokemon we find in each others version we swap which is really cool i just got back into Pokemon again cuz i got a DS a year ago i luv Pokemon i cant wait for black and white looks awesome
