I have a AceKard RPG, I also got my wife an AceKard 2.
I have an Acekard RPG for myself, and I also got a Acekard 2 for my wife.
I personaly went with the RPG for 3 reasons:
1) Built in 1gig NAND Flash, and a MicroSD slot
2) Probablt the best GUI and features of any current Slot 1 card.
3) Completely open source firmware! Even if Acekard stops making new firmware the card will continue to be supported by homebrew firmware, and yes the RPG does have a good and active community.
I decided to go with a Acekard 2 for my wife instead of an Acekard RPG as there was no point in spending the price of 3 Acekard 2s on another RPG (Yes, the RPG is expensive) when A) the Acekard 2 is just as good, minus the NAND and the firmware is not opensource, and B) she doesn't use her card for homebrew, just ROMs.
So there you have it, I would highly recommend an Acekard RPG/2 depending on which you feel would better suit your needs.
Also, as a heads up, the EZ Flash V 3in1 is natively supported on both the RPG and 2, so that's and added bonus.

acekard 2i rpg is stopped for months...maybe you can turn to acekard 2i..
if only for ds...acekard 2.1 is enough for you..
but original r4ds( only 6.5$) is now very cheap..
