Best multiplayer game? [URGENT]

I'm looking for a multiplayer game/games to play with my friends AT MY HOUSE (this excludes online games I suppose)

I got PC with emulators so basically any platform between NES and PS62/GC or PC is fine. I got controllers plus a TV-Out cable for close-to real console experience.

What I'm looking for is a good (preferably action) game that I can play with controllers with my friends. I don't want slow-pace time-consuming fantasy RPGs or anything like that. More like a neat adventure/beat 'em up game.

I need fast answers please!

Ps. Any game you think is worth mentioned can be mentioned as long as it has multiplayer option. I'll look them up. :D

First off I would like to say sorry to anyone who was in any way negatively effected by this part of the game.
But in all reality, this is a rated "M" game. People under 17 should not even be able to purchase this game. If little kids do have the game it's the parents (who are in an outrage) who are at fault. People have been saying this game goes to far, but truthfully what is too far? If your playing a war game, it's not going to be about bunnies and butterflies. There will be blood, there will be gore, language, and even scenes with terrorism and torture. I think Activision was very accommodating when they gave people to option to skip the "No Russian" level, just in case some people (people who may have lost someone in 9/11, or may have some personal experience with being in a school or public shooting) may have found it to be too much. And to be completely honest if the game bothers you that much, don't buy it. But for some people to say pull the game of the shelf, or get rid of that level, it completely uncalled for. Granted everyone is entitled to their opinion, the minority's opinion should not change what the majority have accepted and embraced. If you ask me it's not the games that are too much it's censorship. I just wanted to know what everyone else thought of this. It's always nice to have more than one point of view.

Well guys there has been many new members and this thread is needed because i think everyone is getting sick of people asking noobish questions about their psp.All the time its, help me my psp is bricked or can i hack my psp 3000...etc.All of this is getting on my nerves and i still continue to help them but i think the new members should read this and consider using the SEARCH BUTTON OR GOOGLE>This really helps us out and saves time. It's getting out of hand now....I'm looking through so many posts and seems like there's a new BOT here everyday. I knew that vB failed when it came to security, but come on...Try implementing Akismet or a better Captcha system.

Some gPSP Kai cheat help?

I posted in the Kai thread, but figured this was a little more to the point.

I need help, for some reason no matter what I do, I can't get these Pokemon Emerald action replay cheats to load and I haven't seen anywhere what I'm doing wrong, I may just be retarded, but I could really use some help.

I have my .cht sheet uploaded as an attachment, if anyone could look at it, and let me know what I did wrong, it'd be really helpful, I'll even upload it after it's fixed for you guys to leech, because I know there's a ton of emerald cheat requests...

The .cht file is in the exact location I have it on my psp in my GAME folder, in case I placed it improperly.
