Well, as I said... You have to be active BEFORE getting a promotion. We can't guarantee any moderator positions. We already got three new mods this year, not to mention that there are two or three more people who'll be upgraded after the change.

By all means, this doesn't mean all slots will be filled. I'm just saying that the chances of any more people being hired for mod after the change are slim.

You'd probably be able to do something like that on a MyBB forum. (Each user has a "Time Spent Online" counter in their profile). On a vBulletin forum however, you'd need a plugin to do it. It's not impossible.. Just requires a bit of time to set up.

It doesn't work that way. You have to show devotion to the site BEFORE getting the promotion. For all we know, what you just said might just be empty words to get yourself a promotion.

That's true. That's not the point of forums like this. They're all about posting just because you're interested in the topics discussed etc. If forums were all about just being active to get a promotion I don't know what would happen.
