I could use some full cases swapped out for my 2000 and 3000s.
I've busted 2 psp 3000s now trying to change to a different case. Its getting on my nerves. First one I actually took completely apart only to find out the green aluminum case's UMD door wouldnt shut. I put it back together and it all worked. But then an hour later it wouldnt power on. I think I shorted it out when I poked the metal ring on the top with my hook. trying to pry out the clippy thing that clips the UMD door.
I wanted to test if the clip thing would work with the metal door. Well I couldnt get it out and gave up. Two hours later I went to play the PSP and it wouldnt power on.
Grrr.. The one I replaced it with I busted just a few hours ago. Took the UMD door clip thing out and tried it in the replacment case, didn't make the door close any better. When I sealed it up, half the screen was covered with odd scan-lines. so I opened it up to see if there was anything visibly wrong with it. Put the battery back in with the LCD screen up, and all that use to be scan-lines was now solid black. As well as some on the side. So apperantly all that jerking around trying to get the UMD door tray back in place busted the LCD screen somehow. Even though the face plate was snuggly fitted.
I think if I show up to gamestop too many times in a short period of time with busted PSP's they'll stop honoring my warantys. So I'll trade this one in and leave the next one alone and have someone who knows what they are doing do it.
I added you on all avalable messagers, I hope we can talk soon. I don't have the cases yet. I'm sending the defective one back... I had a blue one ordered too, but the company said they are out of blue and green, so I have to wait till they restock or find them elsewhere.
This is what I've been trying to work with. I like that the case is metal, and it's the nicest color green case I could find anywhere on the net.... But its defective.
I plan on doing a similar one in blue for my brother's birthday.. Which is secret but if I can't get it done then I guess he'll still be happy.
And I ordered a crimson red case for my 2000.
I wanted black directional pad and the buttons (triangle circle square X) to be black on the green one and the red one. (As well as the analog on the red one)
And the ones on the blue one to be white/clearish (analog still blue though)
The home bars and stuff I figured I'd just leave the same color as the case. the 3000s will both be black. by defult...
Originally I intended to put those black keys in the red 2000 and green 2000.... And then take the white keys from the 2000 and put it in the blue 3000.
But I dunno how well that idea would work if I sent them to you. Cause I doubt I'd sent them all at once. Probably one first, (Most likely the 2000) and if it all worked out the 3000s at the same time.
Anyway, I'm just going on and on here aren't I??? *Goes back to playing Prinny can I really be the hero on the PSP with the broken LCD screen by hooking it to the TV*
