Vbux are the "money" we use on Consolespot to give our members a lot of opportunities to modify their account and make it more personal. We will try to explain in the following the basics of VbPlaza and VBux to show you all the cool stuff you can do with it.
How to get Vbux
There are a lot of factors that influence how you get Vbux however here are some of the basics:
100 points for registering
100 points for birthdays
50 points per referral
Referrer receive 2 x points when the Referrer does an action like create a new post.
1 point for each profile view
0.01 points per each character inside a new post. (Does not include spaces or BB code)
5 points for a reply in a thread
0.01 points per thread view ( if someone looks at your thread YOU earn 15 points ! )
15 points per new thread
5 points for each created new poll
1 points per poll vote
5 points per each thread rate
100 points for adding a profile picture
150 points TAKEN AWAY for removing a profile picture
4% Interest on Vbux inside the Bank
Moderators Earn Extra Points Multiplier : 3
Super Moderators Earn Extra Points Multiplier : 5

What is VbPlaza?

Okay, this is tutorial put together by sbarkeri to show you guys how to use the vbplaza and what things do what. Some of this may be obvious like making your username bold, but we will still explain this.
Points Options
Total Items: 4
Bank
This is were you deposit or withdraw your money for vbplaza, if your money is stored in the bank, other members can not thief this money from you. You will also receive some interest on the money you have deposited, the more money you have in the bank, the more money you will receive when the interest is paid out.
Once in the bank, just either click withdraw or deposit and enter the amount you either want to take out or place in the bank.
Donate
This lets you send some money to another member of Consolespot, this is actually very easy and a nice thing to do if you need to give money. You may want to hold your own competitions and have the prize as some money.
All you have to do is enter the user name you want to send the money to, type in the amount, and click purchase. You may also want to add the reason why you have sent this donation.
Thief
This is a very nice option, well if you hit lucky, this lets you steal vbux off another member of Consolespot. You can buy an option to stop other members from doing this, this will be explained later. BUT! there is a consequence, if you fail to steal their vbux, the amount of vbux will be taken off your total. So be careful with this option.
Just type in the user name and the amount of money you want to thief, and hope you hit lucky!
Lottery
Try your luck at the lottery to win some points, winners are drawn daily and weekly
Username Options
Total Items: 7
Change Username-This will allow you to change your own username.
Bold Username-This will make it so your username is bold.
Italic Username-This will make it so your username is in italics.
Underline Username-This will make it so your username is underlined.
Glow Username Colour-This will display your username in the glow colour you choose (available to IE users ONLY.)
Shadow Colour For Username-This will display your username with the shadow color you choose (available to IE users ONLY.)
Username Font Type-This will display your username in the font type you choose.
Usertitle Options
Total Items: 8
Change User Title-This will allow you to change your own custom user title.
Bold User Title-This will make it so your user title is bold.
Italic User Title-This will make it so your user title is in italics.
Underline User Title-This will make it so your user title is underlined.
Coloured User Title-This will display your user title in the color you choose.
Glow User Title Colour-This will display your user title in the glow color you choose. (available to IE users ONLY.)
Shadow User Title Colour-This will display your user title in the shadow color you choose. (available to IE users ONLY.)
User Title Font Type-This will display your user title in the font type you choose.
Thread Options
Total Items: 7
Bold Thread Title-Make a Thread Title Bold
Italic Thread Title-Make a Thread Title Italics
Underline Thread Title-Make a Thread Title Underlined
Coloured Thread Title-Make a Thread Title Coloured to a Colour of Your Choice
Glow Thread Title Colour-Make a Thread Title Colour Glow in a Colour of Your Choice
Shadow Thread Title Colour-Make a Thread Title Have a Shadow
Thread Title Font Type-Make a Thread Title Have a Different Font
Immunity Options
Total Items: 1
Thief Immunity-With this, nobody will be able to steal points from you with the Thief Option
Misc. Options
Total Items: 10
Give Gifts-This will allow you to a gift for another member.
Bypass Flood Control-This will allow you to bypass the time needed between posting posts.
Invisible Mode-This will make you seem offline when you are really online.
See Deletion Notices-This will allow you to see deletion notices in threads.
Increase Postcount Plus 50-increase your postcount by 50
Awareness Ribon-Purchase an awareness ribbon to show your support for various causes in the forums.
Bypass PM Flood Control-This will allow you to bypass the time needed between posting private messages.
Bypass Search Flood Control-This will allow you to bypass the time needed between searches.
Can Use Message Tracking-This will allow you to use the Private Message Tracking system.
Can Deny PM Receipts-This will allow you to deny PM Receipts for the Private Message Tracking system.
Extra Information
Shadows and Glows for usernames and titles only work in Internet Explorer, admins will NOT give refunds anymore.
why taking away 150 points for removing profile pic.????

Hey not to be rude or so but this poitns system may cause(not saying it will) alot of people to start posting spam just to get thier points up and then the mod will have to be working 24/7 on board when we want this forum as spam free as possible

We have run this Points system before on this site with no problems, off topic and spam posts do not count towards your points.
I know that I have been saying it alot lately, but I just want to enforce my appreciation for all the hard work you Admins have been putting into the site as of late.
I hope that everyone appreciates all you guys do. I am also going to be showing this appreciation with a donation to the site, I know every little bit helps you maintain the site, and I want ConsoleSpot to keep flourishing and growing like it is.
This vbPlaza is pretty wicked, I'm thoroughly excited to try out all the new features.
