Ps3 Debug Firmware - Console Spot Forums

Hello my ps3 is on FW 2.76 and i was trying to install the 2.76 Debug FW that i found here

But when i try to do the 2 HDD swap it will not let me copy the ps3 to the HDD when i try to copy it it says Data Corrupted and gives me a code...

So i was wondering is it just my ps3?? is it the FW that is corrupted?? or is it too late to update to Debug FW?? Did sony patch it??

it says right on the description that this won't run on a retail ps3, so i guess that it needs a modchip

It says that for all debug firmwares but look here and here and proof here

ok, well your "proof" is for firmware 2.15 and below.... YOU are on 2.76.... so your "proof" does no good to you.

My proof was just to show that you could run debug on a retail ps3... because on the website if you read carefully it says "it will give the following error before the installation completes" im trying to get the installation to start...
