I was trying to install a CXMB fo my 5.50 PSP and I got 1 theme from this site. Yet, I can't load my downloaded theme. I followed the "read me" instructions inside the file but nothing happens. Is there something else you gotta do or add to make it work? If you have the full version of the CXMB, I would be glad if you could share it to me. thanks in advance.
Which theme did you download? If you could give us the link for the theme and where you got your CXMB, I could point you further in the right direction.
1) Download CXMB plugin appropriate for your firmware (use the one WoobiE posted)
2) Download .ctf themes appropriate for your firmware
3) Make sure you have a Custom Firmware like M33 or GEN
-go to system information in xmb and make sure the firmware version says M33 or GEN in it
-if not, tell us what firmware and psp version you have and we'll post a link to a tutorial on
how to hack it
4) Go to recovery menu
-Press 'SELECT' while in xmb
-Press 'RESET DEVICE'
-Press and HOLD 'RIGHT TRIGGER'
-Press 'PLUGINS'
-If it says cxmb.prx [VSH] (Enabled), press back and exit, otherwise press cxmb.prx [VSH] (Disabled)
5) Go to themes in xmb, select theme (psp will reboot, this is normal)
6) Enjoy!
-If it looks the same, or only the background was changed, make sure you have installed
CXMB Plugin right (instruction on installing it are with the plugin when you download it)
HAVE FUN!
