some people have already given suggestions. like i said idk if this can be fixed and someone else stated it would be easier to just go get a new battery. i know i bought a new one after i hard modded my battery because after a while the battery wont charge, and the PSP doesnt recognize that a battery is in there. because i had my battery and charger plugged in and went to battery setting or whatever and it showed 100%, i unplugged the charger and it shuts off, so yeah... im agreeing with whoever it was that said just get a new battery. it will be much easier for you.
