Download the Official Sony Firmware 5.03.
Update the PSP to 5.03. Its the real deal. SONY FIRMWARE.
Once you have done that. Get ChickHEN R2. Load that onto your PSP and PLEASE READ the "readme.txt" that comes with the ChickHEN R2 before asking questions. Then go and get Hellcat's Recovery Flasher and set it up on you PSP.
Once that is all done, run the ChickHEN R2 the way the "readme" tells you. After successfully doing that, run Hellcat's Recovery Flasher.
uhmmm... guys i have a problem... the chicHEN thing is not working on my psp.
it says on the guide that to work the chickHEN is trial and error i followed what the guide said. but i tried it like a 100 times but it's not working I've completely upgraded to 5.03 but the chickHEN is not effective. should i continue to try or i should probably find another way??? help me please i really need to get my psp fix. thanks...
(and by the way. when i open my picture folder with the chickHEN image. does my PSP have to hang for a while then turned off automatically. is it okay...??? or is it a problem..??)

Yes, it's okay when your psp does that. Trust me, keep trying. I've had it worse that you.
If you're really feeling confident that it's you (Which it's not) doing something wrong, try this. It's an installer that does the work for you (By that I mean it put all the files in for you, so there is no way you put something in the wrong pace)
