I'm gonna have to call you stupid for more then 1 reason

1. he is not really that much of a noob if he has M33 3.90-2

2. the "Patch" is in the -2 update

3. you should not "Hate" people (dislike them)

Oh and your a noob for not know the patch was in the -2 update

Now as for your 8 gig stick problem I would just try formating Flash0 (This CAN cause damage to your PSP, and I'm not responsible for any damage caused to your PSP)

Ha ha...noob bashers need to be banned.. I dislike people who do that. These forums are meant to be HELPFUL, not disrespectful.

I did notice there are a couple patches out for the 8GB stick...not 100% sure why though, 'cause like Karo was saying, it's included in the 3.90m33-2 update, which takes about 2 min to download and install. Someone was telling me the other day that Sony is going to need to release another firmware update to support the 16Gb stick once that comes out as well.

well, surely future fw updates will include newer patched. Once thinking of 8GB cards would be considered a miracle. But then they launched the 16GB.. one day they will launch 32GB...

Next version will have fixed the bug in OFW (related to 8GB cards) and will have introduced support for 16GB.

btw, to those who get frustrated over noobs,

If you don't like noobs... don't reply to them. Simple.

isn't the max size for memory on the psp 30gb? I thought the system board couldn't handle anything bigger than that?

I hear they're getting a 16gb soon then a 32gb somewhere around 2009. I think it was just a rumour though...
