another PS3 hate thread made by a stupid a$$ fanboy,
Get over it PS3 sucks, last in sales in north america, getting beat by the Wii. wii killed 360 and PS3 in sales.
Ace Combat, My beautiful Katimari, Virtual Fighter(Xbox live support) Guitar Hero and Devil May Cry. All PS exlusives now on the xbox.
Killzone 1 had nothing groundbreaking or unique at all.
Halo kills the crap out of killzone. In terms of Gameplay, multiplayer and community. Being one of the biggest community of gamers. All the machinima made on Xbox game. Red Vs Blue?
If your going to say killzone 2 gona have better graphics go right ahead, Halo 3 went for content and gameplay rather then graphic power. No point in awsome graphics if gameplay is not as good. Name one thing Killzone has unique that sets it aside from other FPS's?
MGS4 will rock though.
M$ might have made a big 2$$ problem but a 3 year warrsanty to back it up is nice. Plus $150 refund to those who paid for repairs. There are these problems but M$ is still doing good, not awsome but good.
dude your right killzone has nothing groundbreaking about it and halo probz duz kill the crap out of it but have u heard of Haze which will basically destroy halo left right and center

....xbox live compatability.....u say nothing there about having to pay for it.....haze owns.....i do have respect for halo but sometimes i feel that the 360 is just based around halo...it makes me angry.
xbox sells more because it is aimed at a younger audience, the ps3 has many sufisticated features whilst being very simple and easy to use...but it seems to be aimed at a more older audience...the ps3 is the best console for the price that it is, i mean you get a Blu-ray player built into the PS3 for only £425 whilst a Blu-ray player that is sold by itself costs up to £1000, it just takes time for people to realise this.

I read a stress test on the ps3 and in confined spaces with very little ventilation the TV died well before the ps3(were talking weeks) while the 360 was completely stuffed after 30mins(what a joke).

What most 360 fans sometimes fail to grasp when applauding Microsoft for its 'steps to minimise any impact on the 360 Gaming experience' (actual press quote from a press release here in Malaysia), with the extended warranties, rebates for repairs, etc etc, as well as combating all these issues regarding overheating and Ring Of Death problems, is that these things never should have happened in the first place.
Why?
Because Microsoft is possibly the richest and biggest corporate entity on the planet, and should have solved these problems before Launch. We are coming to two years into the Launch of the Xbox360, yet these problems have refused to disappear. It's all well and good for Microsoft, since they can easily absorb the cost required to 'rectify' broken consoles.
And in spite of the cash they have, they have not actually re-designed the Xbox360 hardware to make it more reliable. They've actually just stuck on more heatsinks and extended the warranty. This isn't a Windows OS, it's a console. And I wasn't aware that consoles could be 'patched' like this. LoL.
Which to me, smacks of a lackadaisical attitude when it comes to Consumer management. Sony's pockets are not as deep as Microsoft's, yet they have come up with a technically superior product. And as for the PS3 haters that wax lyrical about the games the 360 has on offer now (excuse me, but I think BioShock is a more immersive experience than Halo 3, although both games are quite awesome), please be reminded that you are TWO years into your damn console launch.
What 360 games in the first year were really noteworthy, aside from Gears? Anyone? Whereas the PS3 in its first year has already had (and will have) Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet & Clank, WarHawk, Haze, with MGS4, FFXIII, KillZone2 and LittleBigPlanet to come after the one year launch period is up.
Not too shabby, is it?

Well, it's just a matter of stating the obvious, rather than having an in-depth knowledge of the subject.
Hehe, another interesting bit of trivia is that the Xbox360 was so-named because calling it Xbox 2 would have made it sound inferior to the PlayStation 3. Of course, now that you apply this sort of roundabout logic to make the marketing people happy, you shoudl also note that a 360 is basically doing one giant turn and ending up facing the exact same way you originally started. Progress, really?
Maybe they should have called it the Xbox45 (degrees up). I jest.
