You could also do the towel trick! All you need is a towel and some of your time. All you do is wrap the xbox 360 in towels. Keep it there for at least 25 minutes after that turn your xbox 360 and it will work again. But this is a temporary fix after maybe an hour it would get the three red rings. This is where you repeat the process all over again!

The towel trick only works temporary. Since it's an overheating problem, why give it more heat damage?

Peza already explained the options. Fix it yourself, send it to Microsoft or buy another one.

it still means rrod. i have it too. except my three years has been up for 6 months. and since i rarely play it it just decided to break yesterday fml
