Alright, I've been streaming media for a long time now. Most everything I have downloaded in the past is .avi. Those have always worked fine. However, today I downloaded a video that is an MP4 video. Now, it does not show up on my dashboard when I'm browsing my videos. It plays on my PC in Media Player just fine, but it won't stream to my 360.
Have you downloaded the optional media update which allows MP4/AAC files to be played on your Xbox? It allows you to play Mp4 files which sometimes are encoded with an AAC audio and that might be why it's not coming up on your dashboard It can be found on the marketplace, Just under optional media updates.
