    Welcome to consolespot!
BTW, when you post a thread for help, post it in the correct section and title it with whaterver you need help with EX: [PSP] Upgrade Help!

Anyways, the latest firmware is 5.50 GEN-D3 FINAL
You can download it off of this site, from http://www.dl.qj.net , or from a simple google search

Take the folder and put it in the section on your psp called PSP>GAMES
then go to your games on your psp, and run the file
BUT MAKE SURE that you have good battery life before you run it, or else you could bric your psp

    Have fun

    WRONG!

If your in the PSP's Help Thread, there is no need to put "PSP" in brackets. Instead you would put "Help" in the brackets. Or if you are writing a guide/tutorial/how-to, you would put "Guide" or "Tutorial" in brackets.

No need for "[PSP]" if its in the PSP section. "[Help]" is needed in the "Help Section" because there are 2 types of things that go in the Help Section.

Now to help you, you can either upgrade to 5.50 GEN-D3, which you can find a guide on here. I'm sure there is one and its prolly stickied so it will be at the top of the section.

Or if you are an M33 Fan-Boy, you can upgrade wirelessly via internet. Just be sure to go into the Recovery Menu and change the Update method to M33 update. This will be in the Configuration section.
