    Default iPhone 4 unlock released

As the universal iOS 4 jailbreak was released, this brought Cydia to the new iPhone 4, the newest iPad firmware 3.2.1 and any other iOS 4 device.

Recently, the spotlight has been aimed on the iPhone 4. The major hardware upgrades, the antenna issues and the recent jailbreak has stirred things up in the iPhone scene.

And now, what many iPhone 4 users have been waiting for; the carrier unlock!
As of today, August 3rd, iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS/3G users can unlock their basebands.

    Supported basebands
    iPhone4 basebands: 01.59
    iPhone 3G/3GS basebands: 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 and 05.13.04

To unlock your device, search for ultrasn0w in Cydia.
If the package for any reason does not show up, add the repository repo666.ultrasn0w.com.

Install the package and you'll be all set

Leo, you can only unlock when you are jailbroken.

And petfood, all phones use sim cards, whether it be regular, micro, or built in.
