Man just think of all the money a hardcore PSP and DS owner spent/going to spend among these six handhelds. Three of them plays the same games and the other three plays their same games. May the PSP and DS young and old live in their mighty name.
Come on, it time for a new console that plays new games and stop the remaking trend (Similarly with games, there is a PS2 version, then there's a damn PSP presequel, and then there's a new and improved PS3 version, most noteably GTA and God of War).
I'm glad I never bought a PSP Slim and that fata DS when it first came it out only to be replaced by slimmer version. I just saved me $298. I might buy this DSi if an explot is found through the SD card slot, maybe not as similarly to a PSP 3000, I'll buy it because of the 4GB memory card that comes with it and the fact that my Phat's LCD screen is screwed and I'm not going to spend $100 at my local store to repair my Phat. (There are just some distracting scratches on it).
I read about this on the Yomiuri Shimbun( Japanese newspaper ) then I went to the Japanese Nintendo site and there it was the new DSi! Great post! I am going to try to get my hands on this when it comes out here in Japan 1 Nov. It will prbably sell out the day it comes out since the DS is very popular here in Japan. I ride the trains everyday and I see more people (adults and kids alike) playing their DS then seenig people with PSPs. It`s good to see the DS is alive!

Don`t think that was needed to be said, though I had thought the same until I got myself a DS Lite. That`was when I found out how good of console it was.
if they are adding a SD card slot that means they'll have some software or programming in the DS will disallow the use of ds roms or w/e they are called. so if your going to want to do that, then i'd stick with the DSlite

and for what i read on QJ, there are two cameras, one on the inside (.3 mgp) and one on the outside (3 mgp)
The one on the inside is inbetween the two screens.

Also, i might get a ds cause of this, thats pretty cool.
LOL.. I said the same thing. I just bought a DS last week because my Xbox360 RROD'. I kinda wish I would have waited a bit more to get this new one.
I also wish that the Virtual Console games would be compatible with the new DSi.. it would be sweet to download the games you have already purchased on the Wii to the New DSi.
