I want to jailbreak my iPod, but Blackra1n doesn't work for 3g MC model iPods right, well I got a battery info app, and it says my iPod is a 2g and my model number starts with MC, so can it be jailbroken or not, and is it a 2g or 3g?

okay, I hope it is soon, I am tired of waiting, but what is weird is that i tried blackra1n and it seemed to work, it went to recovery and then i saw geohot, and i think then it turned off, so i thought it was jailbroken and i unplugged it (probably my mistake) and then tried to turn it on, it then just went to a white screen. after a couple of hours i finally restored it. so does any one know what happened, oh and I have tried to use blackra1n many times after that and it just stays in recovery mode.

i have a 3g 32gb and modded it with blackra1n.
when you mod 3g with blackra1n its not a full jailbreak, its a tethered jailbreak so every time you turn it off you have to run blackra1n again. as long as the battery doesnt run out or you dont hold the hold button your fine.

yeah, I get the hole tethered issue, but aren't MC model iPod Touches 3rd gen?, cause a battery app that i have say my ipod is a 2g, and I have tried to Shift+restore in iTunes and use iPod Touch 3,3.1.2 firmware and it doesn't work, so I use 2,3.1.2 and it restores it (3,3.1.2 is for 3g, and 2,3.1.2 is for 2g), and I have tried to use blackra1n a few times after the first and it wont go out of recovery.
