I was wanting to do this to my brothers ipod touch is there a chance even If i follow the directions the ipod might be bricked? If it was mine i wouldnt hesitate lol..

no, i'm pretty sure you can't, you can always restore it with itunes...(i think)

i think as long as you follow the directions it works like a charm tho and is defiantly worth it.

The iPod can't brick. Even if it seems like you can't turn it on, you can still recover it with iTunes.

Joomla you should write a tut for 3G Jailbreak (tethered) but none the less a jailbreak.
