    Default help choosing graphic card

i started making a gaming computer with a not too high budget and after looking around a bit i found 2 graphic cards that are very good and quiet cheap i mean the 250 gts and 460 gtx but I'm not sure which to get
i read that a 1GB 460 gtx is around 220 bucks (i know memory isnt everything but in terms of clock speeds the 250 gts seems to be better while the 460 gtx supports more features)
if you know any other good gaming cards or think that one of those 2 is a good choice then please recommend it and if its not too much to ask post a link to good deal for one (make sure it doesn't cost more then 250 usd)
    thanks in advance

    Take the 460.

Short term pain for long term gain?

i can't understand why the most people would ever buy nVidia cards. From the Hardware is ATI really the best, the only problem on that is the driver manifacture, there are really crap, but it exists third-party drivers like Omega drivers and the most ATI's would run like devil would behind them.^^

if you have the money ATI Radeon HD5000+. if not then ATI Radeon HD4000+. But don't buy an ATI Card from the Manifacture "Sapphire" that's a big hill of shit.

Get the 460! why? The other numbers dictate performance level (in a general manner of speaking).

    EX:
    A GTX 285 is better than a GTS 250
    A GTX 480 is better than a GTX 470

When looking between series, that's where it can get confusing.

    ATI cards are generally cheaper.
and performance wise it goes like this:

    5970
    480
    5870
    470
    5850
    460
