Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

the problem for me with the PC is that, my PC SUCKS! i cant play this game, not even at the lowest requirements. I have it on 360 though and its AWESOME!!

all my friends at school make huge private matches and we all talk and make jokes about people at school and what not.

haven't played since summertime though, gona whip it out during christmas.
thinking about getting GOW2, gona be intense. Hopefully not as many glitches as the first.

thats the only reason i think 360 is better, costs less. Good PC= $1200+ x360= $199

Add up the amount of things a PC can do for free and compair it to the Xbox360. Then also take out the huge ass price, that's just beyond unrealistic.

I just wanna say without getting my hide flamed that, PC's are for personal use as in work wise they where not made for gaming think back to dos. The Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 are "Gaming Consoles" I have played Cod4 on both 360 and PC and enjoyed it more on the 360 tbh its a fun enviroment, also if a keyboard and mouse annoys you that much there was an adapter you could buy for the Xbox to play using mouse+keyboard.

Sorry about that but we are all gamers and I hate it when people argue because they think there system is better true PCs can handle much more but games are something to enjoy not bicker about who has the better graphics or more cells and so on so stop all your moaning and get along =)

You make some good and valid points, many people prefer consoles simply because you take it out of the box and you are ready to go, also some people like to relax on their couch with a controller as oppose to a keyboard and mouse. I feel that consoles are a lot more family orientated and are generally for the more "casual" gamer, where as the PC scene is a lot more competative. I know they are leagues/ladders such as gamebattles etc. for consoles however if you truly want to be taken seriously as a gamer you have to go to LAN events such as i37 (UK's Biggest LAN event).

P.S. You say gaming didn't start on PC's, look at the Commadore 64, probarbly the worlds most popular retro gaming system, whats it look more like to you? PC or Console?

Consoles are just computers all packed up nice and pretty with the inability to do shit but game with them. (exception of the PS3, but then it just gets complicated) PCs are basically the same except they have a better OS (or worse?) which allows you to do pretty much anything. You simply cannot say PCs are for work, Consoles could be for work too if the developers added in a word processor and added the ability to do what you want with the hardware you own.

I have played COD4 on both console and PC as well, I prefer PC for three reasons. One, mouse. Two, Keyboard. Three, messaging, xfire, customization, configs, teamspeak, whatever you want, you're on a PC! I could use a controller if I wanted to get my ass kicked, and I could even get an autoaim program similar to that of Xbox and PS3 FPS games and get my ass kicked a little less. With a Console, there's no cheap way of using a mouse and keyboard without problems. Sure, there is cheap hardware you can buy to allow a mouse, but it sucks and has a big delay in mouse movements. It can get as pricey as 200 dollars just to get something that will work good with pretty much any mouse.

Now obviously it all comes down to preference since you prefer consoles and I prefer the PC, so as you say, who cares, why bicker? It's the ones who haven't seriously tried using a PC/Console who should have no say here.

also Naka that is upto you, you prefer PC as opposed to consoles well many people who don't game prefer consoles because it has an easy GUI there easy to use and set up and so on. I like my pc for the internet and so on and my consoles for the games because I know that when a knew next-gen game comes out I dont have to get more RAM or a new GFX Card.

So you see that you could have every right in the world to say that PC's are better but at the end of it its not about the system but the person using it. Im just sick and tired that everyone argues over the better systems and so on when they could be playing them and getting along I dont really see the point in arguing over hardware.

Also I too wish to play it now lol.

Yeah, like I said, why bicker about console vs pc?

You hardly have to get a new graphics card or RAM for next gen games as much as you have to get a new console. Most games allow you to turn down graphics settings anyways. Games like Crysis for example best fit with the PC because the consoles are currently behind because you can't easily upgrade them. If they did release Crysis on consoles maybe you would have to upgrade your console to enjoy all it has to offer as well :P.
