I guess Mac's are more of a Designer's computer.
anyways I just think Mac's run way smoother with what I work with.

but I think I'd get windows 7 on boot camp for the mac.

Conversion pack things are generally hardware hogs and you might as well get the real thing if you can run the conversion pack well.

MacOS is the stuff that works well for designers and students who actually only study. For the average user or gamer it's not too nice.

Windows 7 looks nice but no way in hell I'm shelling out for a new OS when I still have the XP recovery disk that came with my laptop.

One thing Macs will never have the big community and easy-modding/upgrading of a PC. Even more important is their compatiblity they would only run 10 of out of my 132 programs. And Mac's arent cheaper by the time up buy probbably 4 upadtes in a year at $250 each: and a vista basic cost $250 and ultimate under $900 whos cheaper now? Yes Bill Gates and M$ are SCAMS we actually need them. ALL IN ALL:

All of them are flawed points. Comparability is not a concern as what they can't run natively, they run it on a windows partition. Macs don't require upgrading as often because their OS updates actually run quite nicely on older hardware. As for modding, I don't know what you mean by that unless you are talking about blinking lights everywhere and craptacular looking cases. Your comment about updates is also wrong.No one forces you to update from one OS version to another.
