If you're looking for something more advanced, and don't mind taking a little time to learn it, then DVD Lab Pro 2 is about the best software you can get in terms of options.
But for something somewhere between Windows Vista DVD Maker and DVD Lab Pro, you could also try Ulead's DVD Workshop 2. It's very easy to use but also has a lot more flexibility than most basic DVD authoring tools. The only reason I choose DVD Lab Pro 2 over DVD Workshop 2 is because I like to be able to create different ordered playlists the user can chose from on each DVD which DVD Workshop doesn't handle very well.
