Spotlight actually works, as you can see
Sorry I can't upload this in consolespot, it's too big...
tell me what you think
First you'll need the current softwares
Winrar to open .rar files (No Link) Find it yourself
Object Dock 1.9 (Stardock) OR RkLauncher .41 Beta *Search in google iVista Rk Launcher*
Window Blinds 6 (Stardock)
Object Bar (Stardock)
Please Buy the softwares because, it'll help them alot, and plus they are great! and if you only want to try it out, it's only a 15 day trial
anyways alright lets get started
Well first You must download those 3 following files at the stardock website
If you want another dock, get the RK Launcher Beta .41 iVista *Please search in google*
Alright Once You have downloaded those softwares, Install them one by one, Install Objectdock first or Rk Launcher, then Window Blinds, and then Object bar...
after install Reboot, and then Install the following skin for Objectdock
When Installing the Object bar theme, PLEASE READ THE read me file, as it is VERY IMPORTANT
Now for spotlight Spotlight Page <-- Download there
This thing can be pretty tricky once to tweaking it if you want to make it appear once you click on the spotlight icon in the objectbar, your gonna have to do this on your own, because it's a very hard situation, Installing IS VERY EASY! and If you don't want to mess up, there's an option to turn on the hotkey which is F7
Alright after that you should be done by now all you need are ICONS, Wallpaper, and the docklet called Stacks (Flip out thing on objectdock)
UPDATE: I'm helping you out, here are Leopard iCons for your dock... Leopard Dock Icons
Stacks Docklet Stacks Download <----
Extract to
C:/ Program Files/Stardock/Objectdock/Docklets
then Just add a Stacks Docklet on your dock!
then Customize on your own!
And NOTE: Please buy a real Mac machine, to actually get the feeling of a mac OSX interface!, and if you can't afford it, then hey then there's no problem, if you can't afford it, then you cant!
If I have somehow Violated the rules for Consolespot, then please tell me via PM, or just reply to this thread... I'm just trying to help out my fellow C-Spot Users!
At least say thanks, I see 84 views, and I'm pretty sure that you've used this tutorial
Dude..thanks..i am using stacks docklet now..i was like "how the heck did they do that???!!"..haha..I've notice this tut,but didn't notice the items...
It looks like the font needs some work though, the actual mac font looks more smooth. That would make the mac look come about a lot more. The dock doesn't shine either
