Hey im looking to buy a new 500gb portable hard drive, and i was wondering which brand i should try to get. I was looking at an hp one for about 80-90 dollars because of the sale they have, but idk if they have a decent one or not. Also where should i look to get a good price?
any info would be pretty sweet...

you can usually get a good price just buy googleing it. i would go with a western digital. they're pretty cheap. and they don't break. thats what i have. its great, and very small.

yeah ive been looking all over the place and the cheapest ive seen is a 85 dollar wd one, but they are always on sale at best buy so thought theyd be sketchy.

check price for 500 gb hdd good places to check bestbuy radioshack compusa there official good brands seagate western digital maxtor they should run anywhere from $100 and up

i saw some rly cheap ones at my best buy, i was like in awe. i think i saw a 300-400gb for like $50-60. well i consider that cheap since my 160gb cost like almost $300

If you are really trying to save, just buy a hard drive and a 20 dollar enclosure. Newegg has some good prices.
