Default What PSU do I need ?

I am getting a computer custom built for me. I have no idea what power supply unit i need.
Here are the specs :
Intel Core 2 Quad 2.66Ghz
Asus P5Q Motherboard
eVGA GTX260+
3x 120mm fans
1x 200mm fan
500gb SATA HDD
4gb DDR2 RAM
1x Optical Drive
Multi Card Reader

So what amount of watt psu do you recommend ?

well, anything above 500w i'd say.
everyone says all this crap like '800w'
but tbh, you dont really need all that power.
500w should be fine.

LOL @ 850-1000W you can run E8400 @4ghz, 2 HD4870's on an x48 mobo on a 600W. The OP needs about 400W, 9600 GSO isn't exactly the most powerful card you could say and that overall setup will use around 300-350W.

800-1000w
You'll have to many issues with overheating and crashing if you go with a 500w system. Go big for what you have so you also have the juice to upgrade later if needed.

What I was thinking, I have an 800wat and I have twice his GPU and quadcore.
