What is POTW?

POTW means Picture Of The Week and is a small photography competition Ruzarko and Jazzer set up. The aim of it is to take a picture using a digital camera or what you use to take pictures then enter it in the submission thread along with proof. To know what I mean about proof look in the Rules thread.

Why are we doing this?

The reason we are doing a POTW is to bring more traffic to the Consolespot Network and to get more people interested in photography and helping people try out new things that can help them in future life. Also if your more of a photographer then a graphics designer then this could be the sort of competition for you!

i dont have a digital camera, soooo... what can the people do that dont have cameras.
And im sure ALOT of us dont and would really enjoy getting to do this?

I suggest to ALLOW photo-manip of other photographs

what if its a film Camera and i get it done and scan it to my computer (nikon n2000 with 8-200mm lens and a 8-60mm + flash) lol i hope i can still use it

If i'm being totally honnest that completely defeats the whole idea on what were doing, we want people to take there own pictures, not get other peoples, in a way thats just lazy. Also I never said photo manipulation was a no no,

If you have the facilities to do this, yeah why not, but please be aware people may not trust you or beleive that you've done this, not being a *** or anything but we all know what happened with the graphics a while ago

Yeeee thats the way to do it, any camera is fine. & I have a Nikon Coolpix P5100, compact ftw, but hey, don't under estimate it

Any camera can be used i mean i have a Canon Ixus 750 not the ultimate camera but since i have CHDK i cant say much
