MGS4 worth my money?(listen to what i have to say first) - Console Spot Forums

Well, I have a ps3, i havent touched it for months cuz there really is no great games out for it, Im already playing cod4 on the 360 with all my other friends. So I heard about MGS4 and saw the amazing graphics it has to give, although the thing is I have NEVER played any other MGS in the series, would i still understand whats going on if i were to go out and buy it?

I mentioned this in my review I think, you can pick this one up, and play instantly. I do recommend playing Metal Gear Solid 1, and 2. But if you don't have the time, then you can dive right in on this one. If you get confused at all in the story, you can go to the PS Store, and download the Metal Gear Solid Database, which will any questions if any you have. Enjoy, it's well worth it, game of the year imo.

I just completed MGS4 and its one of the best games i ever played even without touching the previous versions....go get it.

its a fun game to play but if your really interested in the story and not just the gameplay then no, not at all because it is a very hectic series and there is really 22 differnt metal gear solid games but i suggest you use this order
Metal Gear-Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake-Metal Gear Solid-Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty-Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater-Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops-Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots

My bro has MGS 4. It's Amazing, The Graphics, The gameplay. Theres Even Online(MGO - Metal Gear Online).
Try watching gameplay videos (in HD or good quality) and see for yourself. Or ask a friend if you can watch it, if he has it.
