Well anyone who knows about the hardware could have seen this company. Developers main struggle is understanding the new technology. Some have it down (ie. Insomniac, Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, and Media Molecule), but others are just confused. Sony cannot be blamed for this considering they're constantly releasing tools to developers to better help them along. For those that do have it down, it's going to be worth the wait. MGS4 was a huge success as you noted, and that was not delayed. LBP has not been delayed, and is supposed to be out October. Media Molecule, knew that there'd be some work involved, and that's why they haven't given a release date until they were comfortable the game would be released at that time.
Overall, October's going to be a great month for gaming, Fallout 3, Farcry 2, LBP!!! Then November you get Resistance 2, I see no need to complain about the delays (I mean if anything it just means the developers are putting there all into each title that is )
I don't really understand what's so great about the ps3 now. I wasn't upset about all these games that were being delayed until i just found out that killzone 2 was delayed until next year!i know its old news but still. Guys, just look at all of the ps3 games, every single one has been delayed for "further improvements" but most of them ended up rubbish just take a look at the ps3 games that were delayed and how they ended up:
1. Home(Not yet released)
2. The Last remnant(multi-platform,ps3 version only delayed)
3. LittleBigPlanet(Not yet released)
4. Final fantasy 13/versus(Not yet released)
5. Killzone 2(Not yet released)
6. Lair(Hyped=Failure, great graphics?poor sketchy background graphics)
7. Haze(Hyped=Failure)
8. Unreal Tournament 3(Hyped=Failure, no 2 player??We were told up to 4 player split screen)
9. MGS4 (Hyped=Success, gotta admit this ended up a good delay to improve the game since it's release was a good one)
10. inFamous(Not yet released)
11. Alone in the dark(multi-platform both delayed but ps3 delayed even further)
What's your opinion in this?If i missed any or made a mistake plz reply and i'll make sure to fix/add on to the list
been waiting for killzone 2.
