OMG!ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?I am sorry to announce this to all sony fans out there...but...Final Fantasy 13 was announced "no longer a ps3 exclusive" at e3...that does it, i'm selling my ps3. forget this bs.

Like i said, this was almost the WHOLE reason i bought a ps3, now knowing it's losing one of its MOST valuable games, forget sony, so much for caring for the fan's. I know for a fact they could have done something to prevent this from happening.The only thing we know is that final fantasy VERSUS 13 is still an exclusive...for now

I don't know why you are mad,This is a blessing and Versus is coming to X360. Its just a matter of time.

no FFXIII is comming to 360 but it will be made once the ps3 version
is out in japan. the north american and european version will be released once the 360 version is finished and will be released as english with the ps3 version. versus XIII is still a ps3 exclusive. i think that this is like a payback to sony for getting bioshock i dunno.
FFXIII for the 360 might be a little dissappointing cause they might
have to use multiple disks, but this is not a problem for the ps3 since
bluray disks have so much space in it.

i think that the 360 will get both of the ff they already have one so the other will be np for them to get i will still be getting them on my ps3 but i will play them on the 360 as well just to see what one is better the 360 or the ps3

perfefect example im definatley not getting a ps3

im gettin a good 360 elite b/c im getting a good deal haklf the games i want are clearance unlike ps3's dumb games

the only game i would possibly want on the ps3 right now is Warhawk and possibly MGS4 but possibly..the Resistance was some bull. i still have to give killzone 2 a chance(whenever the flip it comes out !!!)

and home will also b a big pile of cow s!#$$ b/c they keep relisting dates. im like ... ARRRGG!!! these ps3 games sure have a lot of patience.

i have a good line up for my 360

rock band. GH 2&3. Blazing Angels. Probably Halo 3. and TOMB RAIDER (omg i cant wait for that to come out.) it will b a gift from God if warhawk comes to 360 but not reallly gonna happen.

Well All I've got to say is....you cant do shit when microsoft throw there money around.....and I'm afraid when that happens it is killing off there competitors....This has happened before with the old internet fiasco and OS dominance in the market, Looks like microsoft are doing all this BS again.

And I'm sorry, but if you bought a console for one game your insane! I see no logic in your reasoning....I'm sure you have seen the line up of exclusives for the PS3(or should I say "exclusives", since microsoft seem ever so keen to throw some more money at 3rd party developers to bribe them over to the CARP-side!) It boasts a very nice line up, including killzone 2, resistance 2, LBP and all the multi platform games that you are still getting for the the PS3. Isn't this good enough for you, are there any exclusives in particular that boast a decent background on any other console at the moment, apart from gears of course. Well in my opinion there is not!

So why sell you console over 1 single game, which is still coming to the PS3, I may add. It baffles me how you seem to think "exclusivity" is the most important thing about games, Forgetting the fact that game play and cutting-edge graphics are the centre piece of all consoles today (apart from the Wii of course, because that's just a pile of kiddie strangling fodder)!

Well I bid thee a fair well, and one does hope you stop drewling over those dodgy cartoons you call anime ¬_¬ which I find rather disturbing

"exclusivity" is more of a fan element. Personally, I was gonna buy a PS3 for this and MGS4 maybe for GT5, but still. All of the things that made the ps2 awesome and unique (as in main titles) have left for the most part.

These games, like GTA, would drive ps2 sales for a while and create a loyal fanbase towards sony. With them gone a lot ask why get a ps3 when the only good games it is seeing are going to be on a console with much more games and features.

I mean, yeah sony still has many more exclusives, but last time i checked RE 5 is going to be on the 360 too. So it really makes us fans wonder why get their products if i can get a 360, the games i want, and more. Since the ps3 is really lacking in titles, even to this day.

I think the only tings keeping the sony up are Konami, Insomniac, and maybe Polyphony (If people still like Gran Turismo) Because sony really lost all their good games early on.

(Though looking through its exclusive titles, most are japanese only, so go figure...)

omg this is the best news ive ever heard so far from microsoft. i love every final fantasy game except for gameboy and dat sort of stuff but anyway dats insane. Wats happenin to sony? Resistance sux for a game and number 2 is coming out? wow killzone hopefully will save it next year in february and if dat doesnt im no longer of thinkin of buying a ps3. Exclusives Exclusives. wow. im not tryin offend anybody in anyway possible but wow ps3 is kinda goin down the drain. I seriously think Socom is goin to b the best game for ps3 when it does come out in november thats an exclusive but at that time ima b playing gears of war 2 which hopefully is gon kill it.

You obviously missed Sony's year long commentation on 3rd party exclusives or you'd be under the impression they more than likely let exclusivity on Final Fantasy 13 go. I'll break it down for you though. Sony is trying to walk the Nintendo path by heavily investing into company controlled IP's and assets, first party titles, rather than throwing billions of dollars at third party publishers for the right of exclusivity of a product they really have no control over.

As Nintendo found out when the original Playstation hit the market, publishers don't have loyalty and many abandoned Nintendo (for a variety of reasons) and Sega for Sony. Much like many 3rd parties today have given preference to Microsoft. There is nothing stopping any publisher from doing the same to Microsoft in the years to come. To use a choice quote from Battlestar Galactica, "all this has happened before and it will happen again".

The only people this announcement really affects are those who only plannned to purchase a PS3 for a handful of games, FF13 included. Which I'm willing to wager (nothing) is not the hugely bloated number many think it is.
