As many PS3 users already know, it can be quite frustrating when you receive a message while you're playing a game and then having to exit the game in order to read it.
Lately many rumors have said that Sony would be releasing firmware 2.40 soon, with the features everyone's been longly wishing for. Those of which include in-game XMB, trophy system, and ability to play music from your XMB while playing games.
So recently some of the devs over at PS3News have released a video showing some in-game XMB in action on a PS3 with Test Firmware 2.40. The test firmware is a debug version rather than the retail firmware.
For now please only consider this to be rumor until we officially hear from Sony. And of course don't forget to check out the video yourself.
good I like this it is about time sony start giving us good stuff can not waite for this to come out
