im pretty sure that you can now make custom gameboots becuase the playstation 3 logo was removed and replaced with well nothing except a couple fading sparkles from the XMB.

I LOOOVVVEEE the new multi audio out feature!!!!!
lets u have multiple audio outputs (duh). eg. connected: hdmi to tv and optical out to receiver, you select optical out, enable the multi out-> you get suround sound from receiver (if on), if not you get 2.0 from your tv.
Awwww they took away the original orchestra when you turn on the ps3 and replaced it with a sucky one. I don't really like the visual update (except for the dynamic xmb), but the internal update is awsome.
a nice update but when are they going to release an update with backward capability
xbox done that a long time ago why can't sony release it, they take forever
