Go power up your console, as Sony's latest system update for the PlayStation 3 has just gone live and is now available for download.
The version 3.00 firmware update that was first announced a few weeks back at this year's GamesCom has just arrived. Bringing with it a slew of new features. Such as a new "What's New" section, -- showcasing the latest and greatest on games, videos, and news -- a new redesigned status indicator, friends list, and trophies display. Last but certainly not least is the ability to use new dynamic animated themes and also new avatars.
Firmware update 3.00 is supposed to be this year's last major update. And is here just in time for new PS3 slim owners. So go ahead and get to downloading.
Oh and let us know what you think of the latest update. Do like it or could it been improved more?
Wow, if the Ps3 copies the Xbox 360 anymore you wont be able to tell the 2 apart lol.

I Updated it and they have got a neww boot screen that says PS3
+ I have 2 accounts1 is japanese and 1 is European and my japanese acc has lbp dynamic theme to PURCHASE and my UK acc doesnt even have it
