Lately after the launching of firmware v3.00, people have been having freezing issues, and other bugs.
Yesterday on the PS Blog, Sony announced that they are well aware of the issues, and that they are looking into it, and will release an update as soon as possible.
Their words:
Quote:
SCEA is aware of reports that PS3 owners are experiencing isolated issues with their PS3 system since installing the most recent system software update (v3.00). Rest assured that we are looking into the matter and will provide an update here as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience, as it’s our mission to deliver the best consumer experience on all PlayStation platforms.
Mine froze up yesterday while playing a game for like 10 seconds hadn't done it before the update wasn't that big a deal though. But can't wait for the patch regardless. Over all i love the new changes in this firmware.

I think they're talking about the internet browser freezing it's safe to say that every time i use the internet browser it will freeze. mostly on youtube. sometimes you can escape the freeze by exiting to the xmb but the "busy" indicator says its doing something and the controller is non responsive forcing you to turn it off by holding the power button.
Well I think sony really needs to do an over haul on this suck web browser we have here, I wanna browse my website in wide screen doesn't make sense having all that screen and can't use it.
