"Behind The Scenes" On Sony's Motion Controller — Part 2
As a follow up to last week's video, Sony has released part 2 of the "behind the scenes" look at their upcoming PS3 motion controller. The video features Anton Mikhailov of SCEA, showing some of the earlier prototypes of the device, sheds some light on how the technology can be used for games, and much more in the seven-minute long video.
You might recognize him from this year's Sony E3 conference, were he and Richard Marks revealed Sony's new PlayStation 3 motion controller. Additionally, in the video he also talks about how the peripheral can be used for different types of experiences, be it casual or core games, thanks to the precision of the controller. He also mentions how they use the device to also explore new experiences never done before, such as controlling a snake with the controller.
Lastly a funny thing he mentions near the end of the video; he talks about how he had trouble getting one of the earlier prototypes through airport security when traveling to the U.K. to demonstrate it, saying it "makes you sweat bullets."
I hope Sony don't balls this up. Hopefully it'll become more than some gimmicky wigglestick (that sounded odd in my head, like an inventor's name ) that gets tacked on to games as an afterthought, like SIXAXIS did, in MOST games. ie; skate.
If they actually make this,It will be a waste of money,Is better to have a wii for playing this kind of games and a PS3 for when you are lazy and you just wanna play a game without having to move to much.

how many games for the wii really blew you away? or really made you feel amazed?
now how many games for PS3 have done that?
i imagine it would be more.
now think of the capabilities of the PS3, only while doing everything a wii can as well.
the PS3 already does everything a 360 can and more, and now we can say the same thing for the wii.
