GOOD NEWS for those who have a psp2000v3 and psp3000!

Homebrew coder Zer01ne has released a useful plugin that is compatible with CFW 5.03 GEN-A and the recently released GEN-B. Sedna is a simple PRX plugin that allows you to stay in the custom firmware even if you accidentally shutdown or restarted your PSP without using ChickHEN.

Developer's note:
This plugin allow to:

* Patch the Reboot of the PSP
* Patch the Shutdown of the PSP
* Hide UMD Update Icon
* Patch flash 0, 1, 2, 3 USB acc?
* Redirecting the file version.txt to ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/version.txt
* Patch the blit TIFF image "blit corrupted data for file with extension .tiff"

Installation:

* Copy the folder seplugins in the root of your Memory Stick and copy this line ms0:/seplugins/Sedna.prx 1 in the file X:sepluginsvsh.txt, X:sepluginsgame.txt

Known bugs:

* Some Reboot/Shutdown is still executed despite the patches apply.

I was unable to try out this plugin since I neither have a psp2000v3 nor psp3000. So comments are highly appreciated to keep the members more knowledgeable regarding this plugin.

Edit: stay in the custom firmware not working for me...any one tries this??

Next time don't quote an entire post from your source, do your own thing. When i read this it was like deja-vous. If you are going to quote it word for word, you might aswell put it in quote tags and says its from Qj

You can still try it on a hackable PSP. Just downgrade to 5.03 OFW and install ChickHEN and a HEN CFW and see if it works.

Even hackable PSPs can't stay in HEN CFW Mode if it is shutdown or rebooted.

IDK if it works, i've seen on Qj.net that people were saying it didn't work, so we might be seeing a v2 in a few days. But this plugin sounds awesome!

This plugin works by chance in my opinion. So sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't because of that bug. It might get fixed in v2 though.

the reboot function is not captured when using ultimate vshmenu so the psp does a full reboot and a full shutdown at that time

using teh standard 5.03genb vshmenu it DOES reboot only the xmb

using gamecategories v9 every game says its unsupported data.
