Just give it a reflash with hellcats, usually fixes up problems like that.

still a no go mate, i copied the recovery folder like the readme said, then i got and renamed the official 5.00 pbp eboot, renamed it 500.pbp. put the official file in both the recovery and mem stick root, and it still goes through the gameboot and freezes
EDIT: i got the hellcat v1.60, and it still won't play anything. just keeps shuttin down, this is slowly becoming a headache.
Double EDIT:WWWOOOWW, i feel like an idiot....all i had to do was to format my mem stick...sorry for the annoying posts n stuff guys, and thanks for all the help.
Can you link video button in xmb to open pmplayer advance? Like when you press video it starts pmplayer advance.. Sorry for my bad english.
it is possible, i just don't know how to do that... someone with experience editing the PSP prxs and what not will be able to do so if i'm not mistaken.
I am on 5.00 M33-6 and have TA-085v1 motherboard. I am thinking to create Pandora battery. Is it possible to do it with a Slim battery?
Yes it is possible. You are very lucky that you have a Ta-085v1 MoBo! I have one aswell. Those are the only MoBos on PSP Slims that can create a Pandora Battery. Try not to brick such a good PSP with a great MoBo!

If you changed the MoBo on a PSP 3000 and put a 2000's MoBo as a replacement, the screen will not work cause the 2000 MoBo is not compatable with the 3000's "enhanced" screen.
Anyways, if thats not what you did, then you prolly didn't connect the screen back properly.
Okay dear sir i have a few tiny problems that i have a feeling u can help me with. i just upgraded to 5.50 gen d2 and none of my old ctf's work (because they were old firmware) but now i am trying to load new updated 5.50 ones and they wont show up??? and here is my second question, i have recently aquired 3 diffrent versions of Daedalus emulator for my PSP Daedalusx64 pspmaxxx, daedalusx64 (newest version), and Daedalus -14 all of which seem to only be able to load 2 Roms. i am very confused and very flustered by this because ive got 20 roms but only 2 work (would the ending be a problem .x64 .z64???) Thank you for your help Plz message me when u solved my problem Danka (thanks in german). OH OH OH and i am having trouble opening the CFW menu ( u know the one where u hold the right trigger) is it diffrent for other CFW's???

For your first problem:
You also have to download the newest CXMB plugin for that CFW.

For your second problem:
Even with all the updates from the Daedalus Team, it is still somewhat under Beta Phase, so not all games will work. I believe there is a compatibility list somewhere on the web. Google it.

For your third problem:
The VSH Menu won't show up cause it is set to "OFF" by default. In order to fix this, enter Recovery Menu and go to "Configuration" and change the VSH Menu setting to your preference; Recovery Menu or VSH Menu.
