Default [TUTORIAL]How to put CFW on a PSP in under 10 minutes!!

In this tutorial we'll be talking about how to put custom firmware on a psp in 5 steps.

This is a topic where a lot of people have troubles with, and it's not even that hard. I think that all the Pandora 4 noobz etc. Are to complicated.
This is how I do it under 10 minutes.

Requirements:
-Psp with Custom firmware(a Fat) if you don't have one then you would need to borrow one, perhaps from a friend.
-Psp on OFW (Fat, or slim)
-Usb cable for the PSP, or a Card reader.
-Memory Stick (Pro) duo atleast 1gb.
-10 minutes

#1:Installing the programs.
Your are going to need "PSP Pandora Deluxe 2.2"(Or any other version above 1.5)
PSP Pandora Deluxe 2.2Warning! 46MB
Now depending on which custom firmware you want, you'll need to download the .pbp files for your setup.
For 4.01m33 use the 401.pbp file linked here
If you want 3.90m33 then you will need this one
*Make sure you remember where you put the .pbp files.

#2: In this step we will be making the Magic Memory Stick.

Plug in your Psp with Custom Firmware(USB mode)/ or put in your memory card in the card reader.
Once you have downloaded the files and installed them all, Start Psp Pandora Deluxe.
The program will (usualy) auto-detect which drive your psp/memory card is. If this is wrong then select the right one.
You will see a menu with a lot of buttons and stuff. What we are going to do now is load the .pbp files. So if you want 3.90 m33-3 then press the button "Load 3.90 Frimware" for 4.01 wanters press the "Load 4.01" Firmware. Browse your way to the .pbp ( I put mine on the desktop.) and press open.
As you can see now you can check the box that is shown next to the "Load X.XX firmware" button called "Copy Firmware. Check it.
Now go to Installation Options. As you can see there is a list of Install Options, we will be using "Despertar Cementerio v5 or 7". Depending on the firmware you want. So for 4.01 check "Despertar Cementerio v7".
For 3.90 check "Despertar Cementerio v5"

Next to the "Install Option" are "Other Options", your going to want to check the box that says "Install support Tools for Pandora". That is if you don't have a Pandora battery.(Remember this is for the Fat Battery only!)

Know go back to "Firmware + Pandora Options" As you can see: under "Pandora Button Config." two boxes are now clickable. These are the "Boot buttons" you will be needing later. Even though there are two, you will only be needing the one that says "Despertar Cementerio v5 or 7" (I chose "cross" as button to keep it simple).
Once you've done that check the box "Format + Prepare Memory Stick" ( REMEMBER TO MAKE A BACKUP IF THERE ARE IMPORTANT THINGS ON THE MEMORY STICK!
Now press start, this will take a while depending on your computer.
Afterwards put the memory stick in your "Fat psp with CFW"

#3: In this step we will be making the Pandora Battery.
Remember this is for the Fat Battery only! So you will need a Fat PSP with Battery.

Start up your Fat PSP and go to games, you will see that there is a game/program called "Hellcats Pandora installer"
Start the program, you will see a text but just press yes. Now you can see "Install Despertar Cementerio v5 or 7" and other versions. Forget that.
Somewhere close to the bottom you will see: Battery options.
Go to Battery Options by pressing X while it is selected.
You will see the folowing things:
-"Make battery normal"
-"Make Pandora Battery"

Select "Make Pandora Battery" and press X.

This will take about 2 seconds, after it's done exit the program.
Your Pandora Battery is done.

#4: We will now be putting the custom firmware on your slim/fat official psp.

Take out the battery and the Memory stick of the Fat psp with custom firmware(the one you just Pandoratized.)
And put it in the PSP that doesn't have CFW.
IMPORTANT, REMEMBER TO HOLD THE FAT PSP BATTERY IN, because it will not fit with the "lid" or put it on a sturdy table. IT COULD CAUSE A BRICK.
Now hold your boot button(mine is X) your psp will start up and you will see a menu:
"Install 4.01 m33-2 "
"Install 4.01 OFW"
"blah"
"blah"
Select "Install 4.01 m33-2" and press X.
You are now installing your CFW!!!.
MAKE SURE YOU DON'T DROP THE BATTERY WHILE DOING THIS PROCESS!!!!!!
Once it's done press the button for "shutdown" it will say below.

Put the Fat battery back in your Fat PSP and start "Hellcats Pandora Installer" go to "battery options" -> "Make normal battery".
You're done!

#5 Finishing:
Turn on your Slim/fat Psp that you just modded and hold select once it's on(showing menu and etc.) Let go after 3 seconds.
A small menu will pop up, Select "UMD ISO MODE" and use the arrows "<-, -> " to chose M33 driver.

You can now sit down and think of how great Kakshiismee is for making this tut..

Video tut is coming

awesome job!,. but there should be like a thread where there would be links of tuts made by different people,. and noobs would choose whose tut they would read and be comfortable with using,.it's just that too many good tuts would go to waste,.

on your PSP, you can downgrade straight to 1.50.
And from 1.50, you can upgrade to cfw.
