Default [Tutorial] Make Your Fake MS More Stable

So I haven't been making a lot of Tutorial lately(I haven't been on much either), but that was mainly because I was working on UPTPr2. Now my UPTPr2 Data is lost! So I'm gonna put up this Tutorial I've been meaning to make for awhile now. Hope you like it and get a good read

    Stuff Needed:
    FakeCard v1.5
    Fake Memory Stick
    Windows XP (For Formating)
    USB Cable or Card Reader

    First Step: Formating With Windows
NOTE: Before you start you need to copy all of your DATA off of your MS

    1. Click "Start" and then "My Computer"

    2. Right-click where your Memory Stick is located, and then click "Format"

    3. Press "Start"

    4. Press "OK"

    5. Wait

    6. After it is formated press "OK"

    Second Step: Using FakeCard v1.5
    1. Type in your Memory Stick's Drive Letter (ONLY THE LETTER) & PSP Firmware Version (3.51 M33 = 351, 340 OE-A = 340 etc.. You Understand?).
    Then Press "START"

    2. Click "YES"

    3. Press "OK"

    4. Press "Enter"

    5. Wait...

    6. Click "Click Me Once Format Has Finished"
    [img][/img]
NOTE: If You Get This Message Then You Need To Go Back To Step One

    7. Press "OK"

    8. Press "OK"

    Q&A:
    Q: What does this do?
A: This program will speed-up the card and make transfer faster.

Q: Who is the programmer of FakeCard?
    A: Gunner54

Q: How do I transfer files without corrupting them.
A: Arrange them in one folder and then copy all of it over at one time [ulr=http://************.co.uk/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=1976&stc=1&d=122738625 3]Download MS ROOT Folders

Q: Why are some of my files corrupt but not all of them?
A: Because Fake Memory Stick never have the same amount of space as they say they do.

Q: How do I find out if I have a Fake Memory Stick?

Look at where it says "MagicGate" in the picture above. Next to it will either say "Supported" or "Unknown." If it says "Supported," your memory stick is probably genuine, but if it says "Unknown," your memory stick is probably a fake .

TEST #2: Format your memory stick with FakeCard_v1.5. If it formats in seconds, your memory stick is probably genuine, but if it takes minutes instead, you can bet that your memory stick is probably a fake.

TEST #3: What ever size memory stick it is, try copying that amount of data to the memory stick, then read it back. For example, if it's a 4GB memory stick, copy 4GB worth of data to the memory stick, then copy the data from the memory stick back to your PC. If it errors when either copying to or from the memory stick then it is most definitely a fake.

hmmm... itll make the memstik (fat32) to a fat format.... hmmm... is it safe? will it lessen the amount of space my memstik have? e.g. 2gb (fake) will it be 1.5gb if converted to fat?

    btw dude, i have a 5.0m33-3 with a 5.01 fix in it. is it still a 5.0cfw or a 5.01cfw?

Yes it is safe. No it will not lessen any space on your Memory Stick, BUT Fake Memory Sticks do not have the amount of space it says it has. I have a friend with a 16GB and it only holds 9GB of data (Good thing he got it cheap XD ).

EDIT: It is most likly still 5.00M33 so put in "500"

The problem is memsticks above 4GB can not be formatted to FAT system (I don't know if fakecard is the solution to this). What happens is a fake 8GB, for example, would be formatted to FAT system but only 4GB of space would be usable, and would show as it's capacity.

But I will try this later to see if it works with my fake 8Gb.
