My program psplugin manager V 1.5 will allows you to install and uninstall this password protection program (lock xmb) right inside the program and it goes through safety checks so there is no need to manually mess with your flash 0. Enjoy !

[Released] PsPlugin Manager (updated to v1.5)

I placed some themes i made somewhere in my tutorial. The theme file is named lockdown.thm. u can put this either at the root of ur flash0, or the root of your memory stick. I will make a theme creator tutorial soon.

Nice tutorial. I don't feel like password protecting my PSP because all of a sudden, I leave it for a few days, forget password and bam, I have to reflash firmware.
Just keep a text file with the password.
I hope your computer has a password? lol

Now i know this is going to sound stupid, but a friend of mine who i told my password (he was borrowing my PSP) accidentally changed my password and he miss typed it and he doesn't remember it. I set it to prompt for password every boot.

How can i get into the recovery menu to uninstall and reinstall the plugin? If at all...

And if not, how do i restore the use of my PSP?
