Lets say u are on 5.00m33-6.
Add nandmanager to your PSP/GAME folder. Run the app from XMB.
Make a nand backup of my 5.00-6m33 NAND, then upgrade to Gen-A. After you installed Gen-A run nandmanager.Make a backup of Gen -A .
A new folder will be created at the root of your memorystick nanddump. Inside it contains Your IDstorage and the dumps of both CFWs
This folder is about 70 mbs large so be sure that you got space before doing the CFW dumps.
Nandmanager is a quick ways to switch between the two CFW's
Only Use Your Nand Dumps. Using Dumps from another psp will PERMANENTLY FUK UP UR DEVICE.
Made this video to demonstrate how its done.....sorry about the cam.
I hope everyone realizes that messing with nand is dangerous. If something goes wrong your PSP is permanently screwed. It's impossible. Not even sony can fix a corrupted nand.

I didnt realize. I have been using this trick awhile now. If i F?k my psp up......i will let you know first.
Working with the nand is tricky but your guide is helpful for switching back and forth between firmwares without using the pandora process
yea. its a neat trick for those 5.00m33 users who juss wanna use Gen/A for resistance retribution. its easy and fast to switch between the two firmwares.
