1st off awesome tutorials as I now feel more in the know regarding slim & brite psp.I downloaded the 5.03 update installed it,ran the chickHEN successfully then attempted to install full CFW using hellcats rec flasher 1.60 Unfortunately the kid has a TA088-V3 MoBo and cant have a full CFW..
So I used the CFWEnabler V3.60, and its working like a charm.

Big ups to you leo and all the ppl on the spot for your keeping the scene alive.

hello i just came back to the psp cfw scene after over a year i update my 3.71 ctfw to 5.00m33 and was trying put psx and psp games on it seem not too work and my ps2 is busted soo i cant play the psx games

Hmmmm good question mizukagesheir.

Well ChickHEN alone does not let you play ISOs or CSOs, but ChickHEN is needed to play your backups.

If you want to play your ripped/backup games, then you first need to install and run ChickHEN R2, and then you need to install 5.03 GEN-A/B. With 5.03 GEN, you will be able to do everything like you normally would in a Full CFW (Ex: 5.00 M33-6).

You can not just install 5.03 GEN without ChickHEN, so make sure you have ChickHEN and that you are in ChickHEN Mode.

Hey I was hoping someone could help me
I got a PSP 2003 today as the Japanese 1000 I had didn't seem to want to be hacked, I got ChickHEN to work on it but every time I load Hellcat's Recovery Flasher it brings up the disclaimer and doesn't let me input at all, so I can't go down and agree

EDIT: Nevermind, it seems the PSP I got was faulty and messed up for HCRF (and GEN-D after ot had been installed for about an hour for some reason) only, I used a GEN-D installer, made a magic memory stick and Pandora battery and then hacked my Japanese PSP, I'll take the 2003 back to the store and now I'm ready to enjoy backing up all my legally owned games
