PSP 3000 5.03MHU homebrew help

Please help - I would really like to solve this mystery of how to play my old homebrew apps on my recently exploited psp 3000.

I am running 5.03 MHU successfully.
I have changed my driver to M33 and am able to play my PS1 eboots just fine.
I am also able to use my CXMB.

I haven’t tried any ISO’s yet (for the want of an ISO) – I intend to try tonight, but I’m pretty certain they should work if my PS1 eboots already do.

My main gripe is with my homebrew apps – ebookr, psptube, sega genesis, snes etc. When I try to load them it enters the file (as though it is loading it) and then comes out with the error that it cannot open the file.

I understand that this is because I am on kernel 5.03 M33 (MHU) and not on 1.5. On my previous phat PSP I would usually switch off the machine and reboot (with the R trigger held down) and then change over to 1.5 kernal.

Obviously I cannot do this on the 5.03 MHU exploit.

Psyko has suggested the use of eloader – this too does not work. It loads the program, but then fails to load any roms/ebooks etc (it crashes, black screen – requiring a shutdown & fresh ChickHEN install).

I have seen on youtube people showing off their psp 3000’s hacked, playing genesis roms straight of the bat (direct from their memory sticks without eloader).

I therefore am assuming it can be done – any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

PSP Phat can play 1.5 homebrew without a problem. Firmwares on phat above 3.71 needs 1.5 kernel which isn't available for Slim.

Therefor, you need to get Eloader 1.000. Apparently it doesn't work.
Then, it's LEDA 0.2 left. BUT since this program installs in flash0 I'm not too sure if it's the best idea to install it :\

Hmmm - i'm going to try something which I think is very obvious - loading it without the MHU. I just realised all the youtube guys did not load the CFWenabler - (as this is for iso's/cso's)

Stupid maybe - I don't know, it's worth a shot

maybe you just need updated versions of the homebrew because all of those listed should NOt require 1.50 kernel!

Just search for slim compatible homebrew, I know there should be a lot around. I use a PSP-3000 with 5.03MHU and I use a few homebrew such as SNES Emulator, NES Emulator, GBA Emulator, DAEDALUS, CPS1 Emulator, NEO GEO Emulator, PC Engine Emulator, Java Emulator, PSPedict, Homebrew Sorter, PSP Notes, Bookr, PEP Viewer, Ultimate PSPTube, PSP Cheat Up, Auto Start Config, FUSA Game pad, PSP Filer, Xplora, Squarez, and Tetrabetes. These all work flawlessly on my PSP-3000. I can try an assist you as much as I can.

Problem solved.

It is as the others say - the versions I was using were perhaps far too old. I have installed the newer versions and they run like hot cakes.

Conclusion? Try newer versions of all things BEFORE asking for help.

@ Junya: I want to use my ebooker (for my manga) and calculator (for photo2 and video2). Are there any psp slim compatible versions flying around? I have checked here, but with so much to troll through, it has become a mission.

Oops managed to figure it out on my own
