The new Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker Demo came out. (Version 2)
It needs 6.00, but it doesn't works on 5.50GEN-D2 neither with the version.txt trick.
Anyone got it to work?
ive already posted a thread of this with the link included last night....
no one has been able to play it. Also patching the eboot doesnt work because its like 2kb.
some also tried turning it into an iso and or cso and patch that but still hasent worked...
not to put you down but im surfin the web...extra thorough to see if anyone has found a way to play this....!!
Use the Media Go to download and install the demo to your PSP it may work for those on 5.50 GEN-D2, I got it to work on my PSP 3K which is on 5.03 GEN-B.
CQC improvement, new stage, better AI etc...

yeah i have been trying to get it to work cuz there is no way im going to install OFW to my psp so if anyone finds any new info on getting it work just post it here cuz i will ^_^

well... whenever i find the demo on media go... ill let you guys know if it works for 5.50 GEN-D2. i really hope it does. PW OWNS! cant wai for the official U.S. release. cant wait for Rising either

PSP 1000 running 5.50 GEN-D2. bricked 4 times. been through 2 faceplates already, on the third.
first installation: Original PSP black faceplate.
Second installation: CAMY Pro gear black with gold dragons. (Grooves for the screws were wore down after a month)
third installation: Back to original Sony faceplate. (glad i kept the thing, endless cracks and stripped grooves)
Fourth installation: XCM Smooth As Silk Red Faceplate (happily using it)

As of now it doesn`t work on 5.50 GEN-D2. I have tried many times but no luck. Only worked on my PSP 3k with 5.03 GEN-B. Here is a video I made showing the demo working on my PSP 3k.

well that sucks.... btw since i couldnt find the PW demo i downloaded the new Jak and Daxter demo... and it doesnt work.. so if you guys didnt know... there ya go...
I say... time for 5.50 GEN-D3, or 6.00 GEN or something... or even a tiny update or something that will allow us to play the new demos and stuff on our PSPs. right?

well its great that it plays with 5.03gen-b wish i had a psp 3k but i do hope that GEN make maybe like afterlife1230 said 5.50 GEN-D3 but i think a 6.00 GEN would be very useful right now so it would help ^_^ but if i figure out some way of running it i will post it here
