Help with gen-b for 3000 - Console Spot Forums

Ok so I now have a psp 3000 and installed ChickHen R2, I update that to 5.03 GEN-A, but when i use the quick updater to GEN-B i says (NOW REBOOT IN 5.03 GEN-B) and thats it it stays on 5.03 GEN-A HELP!!!

How i can start the GEN-B installer in Emergency mode to restore the GEN-B corrupted or the version.txt?

you just need to press L before the GEN-B appz start to bypass the check

its not a check the updater starts says that then exits on its own

EDIT: I GOT IT I HAD TO PRESS L+START FOR SOME REASON. WILL SOMEONE PLEASE LOCK THIS THREAD

i encoutered that same problem before and i know just how you can make it work

first go to game then go to genb updater (dont press it just yet) hold on L button for about 3 seconds and then continue holding onto it until you to to the black screen and when you see the updating process let go and then press x and follow the on screen intructions enjoy!
