    Default Slow PSP startup??

    can someone help me? suddenly my psp start up time became very slow, there is loading icon in the right side but i can't see the game icons. and it need 2 - 3 minutes to wait till the icon to appear.

    Try changing your CPU Clock to default
    I saw your pro you should upgrade your CFW

    Probably the Memory Stick is what makes the PSP slow during startup.

    do you have a UMD in the drive when you turn it on? that happened to me once. just take the UMD out when you're turning it on, and when the icons appear, put it back in.

    Fake mem stick perhaps? Try using blackspeed v2.0 (a homebrew) which will test the write and read speed of your mem stick. Through this we will be able to know if the mem stick is the problem. I've attached the file here so you would not have trouble finding it.

    and after several minutes waiting on the boot up, it says no UMD inserted, does anyone have any idea on this problem?
