3.90 M33
This is the latest firmware released by Dark_Alex and is based on Sony's Official Firmware 3.90. This fw introduces Skype (only to PSP Slim) and Go!Messenger. It also addresses a bug present in ofw 3.80.

Update 4: M33-4
This FW + update is the minimum firmware needed to upgrade to 3.71+ custom firmwares. Includes updates 1-3. Place in PSP/Game and run form psp. M33-4 (Includes 1,2,3)
**Those with lower firmwares... upgrade people! The lower firmware namely:
* 3.51 M33
* 3.40 OE
* 3.10 OE
* 3.03 OE and \/ are getting outdated and slowly becoming obsolete. I suggest these users upgrade to at least 3.52 M33.

Here are all the Official Firmware ever released by Sony. M33 ones are included in the easy installers, but should you need any, here they are.{ Personally I call this a waste of time, but every site should have a history post!}
NOTE: Be very cautious while creating Pandora and downgrading/upgrading your psps. Although, it can still be fixed, why go through the trouble of fixing a brick, if it can be avoided?
NOOBS: Make sure to follow to follow the links that lead to tutorials. Read them carefully and you'll ahve 1/2 your questions answered without even asking.
An Original Pro Duo Memory Stick that is at least 512mb for Nand Backup.
A PSP Running Custom Firmware (It is best for the psp to be running a minimum of 3.52m33 or 3.71-2m33)
With a battery at least 75% full (ideally 100% full).
This is the easiest PC based Pandora creator. Disinter v3.80's current features:
* Either a 1.50 or 3.80 Firmware "Pandora" MemStick can be created.
* Option to install the 1.50 Kernel extentions for M33-3.80 on a "Phat" PSP.
* Loading of eBoots directly or from rar files.
* Full onscreen instructions.
* All features can be used on Vista.
* MD5 verification of eBoot's.
As for this release's latest changelog:
* Updated to use Despertar del Cementerio v4. (Installs M33-3.80-5)
* Updated to use Hellcats Pandora Installer for 3.xx, V3a
* Updated to use M33-3.80 1.50 Addon
- Installer now checks if user has a custom theme installed, and ask him to disable it before running the program.
- the PSN DRM file in flash2 (act.dat) is now backuped during ms creation and restored in the unbrick.
- flash2 is now formatted too.
- Now installs 3.80 M33-5 instead of 3.71 M33-3.
These are the latest releases of Pandora applications and work perfectly on 3.80 M33 and 3.90 M33 firmwares. I elaborate that instructions should be followed to the core.

This for those who have absolutely no custom firmware at hand. This is a tutorial, but Pandora section is incomplete without this. This requires you to have a real steady arm and willingness to accept that things may go wrong. REMEMBER THAT Li-ION BATTERIES ARE VERY EXPLOSIVE IF NOT HANDLED CAREFULLY. You may also render the battery useless.
NOTE: These methods apparently do not work or newer batteries, so get yourself some older batteries.

Making Switchable PSP-Slim Pandora battery {RECOMMENDED}

Now fix the switch to stay in it's place with some superglue or duct tape.
I would recommend duct tape first, to correct something, if you did
something wrong. The switch mustn't overhang, cause else
the battery will not fit in your psp anymore.
Step seven and eight:
Also cut away some plastic at the upper half of the battery
at the same position where you cut it away on the lower half, so
that you can reach the switch inside. You can see in the pic
how much you have to cut away approximately.
After that put the halves back together again and fix them with
some superglue or duct tape.
This guide and tute has been written based on a PSP Slim PSP-s110 battery. For phat psp users, this is the connection that must be made.
A Poor Man's Battery
The following poor mans hardware guide to creating a Pandora Battery is aimed towards the non-handy man type. With that said you may potentially render your battery completely useless or cause another unforeseen disaster. Proceed with caution: (Thanks to James L for the guide.)

Just pry open the battery by pinching the edges (with your teeth or something to that effect).

Cutting the flexible one is fine, but it cause the battery to short, a problem Im currently facing, every once in awhile, causing restarts. Im guessing its because of the flexible material moving around inside the battery when the PSP is moved. Make sure to bend the metal GENTLY so that they cannot touch while you proceed.
Then, using your pry tool, make sure to get it just under the right pin, as seen in the diagrams. Preferably, get something that can wedge diagonally in the pin, then twist it.
Tape the battery terminal back together if you cut it, once youve safely removed the pin.
Put the battery back together. Dont worry, it wont snap together, thus, more tape! Wrap tape, and yes, you CAN you duct tape here, around the battery to hold it together. Scotch tape is recommended, because its not bulky, so it doesnt prevent the battery from going in smoothly.
And thats all there is to it. I was going to attempt to make a switchable service battery (even though this is possible VIA software, but it would have been cool to have), but the pin broke COMPLETELY off. Oh well.
Recovery from Semi-Brick
If you got a semi brick while installing a theme or a homebrew, then first try to re-flash Flash0 with YOUR OWNFlash0 backup. Use downloadable Flash0 only and only to replace files that came with the Theme. REFLASHING THE ENTIRE FLASH WILL COMPLETELY BRICK THE PSP

This guide is intended for PSP SLIM users. But it also can be used for semi-bricked FAT PSP's as well.
As of now there is no other way to recover a semi-bricked PSP SLIM without using a Pandora Battery + Universal Unbricker.
I have created this guide to help those that might not have a second PSP running custom firmware. This will guide you through creating a Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick using your semi-bricked PSP SLIM.

Go to x:/vsh/nodule. Remove music_main_plugin.prx, music_common.prx, music_plugin.prx. Go to x:/vsh/resource. Remove music_main_plugin.rco.
You now have 623KB/~0.6MB more space on your flash0.
Step 4: If you want to view photos skip this step, you dirty bastard.
Go to x:/vsh/nodule. Remove photo_plugin.prx. Go to x:/vsh/resource. Remove photo_plugin.rco.
You now have 232KB/~0.2MB more space on your flash0.
Step 5: If you want to play videos skip this step.
Go tox:/vsh/nodule. Remove video_plugin.prx, video_main_plugin.prx, msvideo_plugin.prx, msvideo_main_plugin.prx. Go to x:/vsh/resource. Remove video_plugin_videotoolbar.rco, video_main_plugin.rco, msvideo_main_plugin.rco.
You now have 802KB/~0.8MB more space on your flash0.
Step 6: If you want to use the RSS features skip this step.
Go to x:/vsh/nodule. Remove rss_subscriber.prx. Go to x:/vsh/resource. Remove rss_subscriber.rco.
You now have 21.1KB/~0.02MB more space on your flash0.
Step 7: If you want to use the Network Update icon, GTFO.
Go to x:/vsh/nodule. Remove update_plugin.prx. Go to x:/vsh/resource. Remove update_plugin.rco.
You now have 33.6KB/~0.03MB more space on your flash0.
Step 8: If you want to use the PSP Camera addon skip this step.
Go tox:/vsh/nodule. Remove camera_plugin.rco. Go to flash0:/vsh/resource. Remove camera_plugin.prx. Go to x:/kn. Remove usbcam.prx.
You now have 277KB/~0.3MB more space on your flash0.
Step 9: If you want to use the PSP GPS addon skip this step.
Go to x:/kn. Remove usbgps.prx.
You now have 15.4KB/~0.02MB more space on your flash0.
Final step: Only if you have ballsed up and get a semi-brick. If not, this can be ignored.
Go to the recovery menu and re-enable flash0 access via USB. Drag and drop everything in your backup flash0 folder back into your flash0.
To All those who are anticipating the completion of this thread, I'm Sorry this is taking time, But I have a exam coming up and I come online only for 5-10 minutes at a time. I promise, that this will be done over the weekend.
