Default keep it up

this is an amazing app. although this is the first time i used it i came across a couple of bugs, but by reading through the forum everybody has said that this was a great app so i downgraded my 4.01m33-2(phat) to 3.90m33 and used xmb editor v2 and i had a lot of fun customizing my themes so i went bak 2 4.01m33 and tried to fix my problem and sadly could not do it...but i would want to see this app more...it would be pretty cool 2 see a ctf editor:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
since i cant get this to work im sticking 2 ctf's

Just to let you know, you'll need to copy all of the files from the module, resource, kd and kd\resource folders in your flash0 to ms0:PSP\GAME\XMBeditor\Applications\XMBeditor\data \recovery before you can flash any theme.

I found this out the hard way

Yes, make a PC/Mac based XMBeditor. It will be so much easier to use. It will prevent possible bricking or even bricking at all for that matter. And please include instructions on how to use it for n00bz. They are the ones that always brick. Thanks for the time. Good luck.

A CTF editor would be such a good tool in my opinion. There are some great CTF themes that could use maybe a custom Coldboot and Gameboot other than the one that is already there. I also 2nd coreXcore's idea of the editor for PC and Mac. With something like that more people would be willing to try making themes thus making the XMB scene grow. Ty for XMBeditor btw I havnt used it yet but its on my PSP Ill give it a try later on.

Enter Recovery then go to advanced>Toggle USB (flash0) and connect PSP via USB cable, enabling USB connection. If you don't have backup, you can try flashing files from other themes or flash the whole theme. It's important that you replaced paf.prx, openning_plugin.prx, lftv_plugin.prx, topmenu_icon.rco, topmenu_plugin.rco, syconf_plugin.rco, system_plugin.rco. Then you can then re=install 4.01M33 again to re-fresh your flash. When finish re-installing, don't forget to back=up your flash0 files.

If you want to use XMBEditor, you can do so by copying from your backup the following files into /PSP/GAME/XMBeditor/Applications/XMBeditor/Data/Recovery folder:
1. files from VSH/resource folder
2. files from VSH/module
3. impose.prx from /kd folder
4. impose.rsc from /kd/resource folder
5. dummy dic files
6. ltn0.pgf, kr0.pgf, from /font folder
7. gb3s1518.bwfon (DUMMY NOT THE ORIG), A COPY OF WHICH YOU CAN FIND FROM /DATA/DUMMY FONT FOLDER OF XMBeditor,

Don't forget also to free up some flash0 space.
